Bruce Tzu asked:

What is the longest streak of top 5 finishes ever for a college football team?

Nebrasaka, Notre Dame,Oklahoma, FSU, USC? Has to be one of those teams doesn’t it
FSU had 14 straight? Wow that is amazing if accurate

Florida St. had 14 straight top 4 finishes during their recent run. That’s tops.

Oops… top 5. ‘87-’00.

Oklahoma has by far the most top five finishes, but not consecutively. Oklahoma also was the ones who dismantled Florida State as a major player in the 2000 National Championship game. FSU has never recovered.
