jetcityradio asked: Sports writer Vito Forlenza posted an article today listing 5 college football coaches who could be out of a job at the end of this season; either because they’ve irritated people, poor performance or both. I found the article at comcast.net. What are the odds of any good coaches becoming available at the end of this season if some get fired, and who might be available to fill these jobs?

Active.com asked: If there was a playoff system for College Football, what would happen to all the sponsored bowls? Playoffs would have to be managed by the NCAA, so what happens to all the big bucks the bowls bring in for sponsors? The sponsors are the ones doing all the event management and planning. They pay the bill.
Just throwing this out there for discussion. Was a hot topic in a discussion we had last night.

Cowboyssuperbowchampsin2008 asked: Is it just me, or has college football gone too far with the way they decide what’s a penalty and what isn’t? I thought college football was a game. I thought games where supposed to be fun. So why is it that players get penalized for celebrating in the endzone after scoring a touchdown?

sammi asked: I know that the first college football games were more related to rugby and soccer. And the first intercollegiate game was held on November 6, 1869 and was between Rutgers and Princeton. How did the Princeton football team get to Rutgers? How did the other college football teams arrive at their games?

Guthrum asked: I have noticed that at the end of some college football games, the coaches rush off of the field led by a state trooper. Why is this? Is it because of 9/11? Or are they in a rush to get home and watch figure skating on tv?
