Ross V asked: Every year, deserving teams get screwed over by a machine and they miss the chance to play for the title. Why not adopt a playoff system and make it more exciting and challenging? That way, ALL teams would get more than fair treatment? I just think it’s weird that the fate of a college football team is left up to something that is non human.

Diggidy asked: When exactly was there a rule put in place regarding the cut and specifications of football jersey’s in the college game. As early as 10 years ago, many players wore jerseys cut just below the shoulder pads. I’m sure it had to do with safety, but it looked so much more bad-ass that way.

king_geoian13 asked: Given that it is Saturday, a time that the Yahoo! Answers board is usually clogged with questions, I thought I’d bring up an interesting question to the crowd before Ohio State and Wisconsin play. So, who do you think Obama and McCain like in College Football?? Could It be the teams from their home states, or someone who is high in the rankings right now?

Koz asked: I need to set up a college football pool for all the bowl games.
What I want is to be 20 people, pick the point spread winner of each bowl, with the tie breaker being the total points of the national championship game.
I would like to use CBS sportline if possible, but what are some other good sites

Vince Young asked: I recently have moved to South Carolina, and can no longer watch many of my favorite college football teams games (Texas Longhorns). Is there any LEGIT site, where I could watch all of their games, or some kind of TV package. Please do not suggest any of those stupid sites that offer 5000 channels for a one time fee. I am willing to pay, but I want a legit website. thanks

purplecatwarrior asked: I just got an awesome jacket from someone, but I don’t know what team it is. All know is that it is a College Football Team in the USA, and the colours are: black, yellow, with white stripes. My friend who gave the jacket to me said that there was also a jacket from the same team that had navy blue, yellow, and white stripes. Help?

Ocho Tres™ asked: Yeah that’s right. That’s a fact.
College football has passion and heart. Unlike the NFL which is full of old, rich, selfish, sleazy, and complacent a-holes who have no regard for their teams and communities.
College football is all about unity and it owns.
You are a b***th if you don’t agree.
plus it has tradition and history.
It owns the NFL so badly it ain’t even funny.
There are 100 plus teams in college football. Of course there will be blowouts. At least the players will give all they have to protect the honor of their school.
Unlike the complacent pro players who worry more about the money than the record of their teams.
Jeff M is the most ignorant imbecile ever for even writing that punchless paragraph. Dude you think every college player is trying to get the NFL? Most of them have top notch grades and will find better jobs after graduating. They play for their SCHOOLS. Only a small percentage of them will go on to play football for a living. Therefore they will give all they got everytime they step on the field.
Have you ever been to a college football game? The fans are way more passionate because they can acutally relate to the players.
Maybe you should’ve stayed in school.
Muwhahahhahahahah.
I think JG needs to get his lips away from those NFL c**ks and realize what real football is all about. You must be a 40 year old with a pot belly.
